'Drones, Phases and Alchemy' was originally released on PorkBonEs Records in 2002. The original CD included 4 additional tracks by composer Clark Crawford.

This disc was compiled from various tracks, most of which were recorded one week at the Harten Center for Underprivileged Sounds.

“Crawford Drone,” “Crawford Phase I,” and “Crawford Phase II” were all three improvised by me and Brent Fariss.

“Thompson Drone” ['Mysterium Drone'] was a solo improvisation performed by Bill Thompson [with guitar] at the SWTSU Recital Hall.

Finally, “Crawford The Alchemist” was commissioned by Brent Fariss and performed by me one evening using Native Instruments Reaktor.

All tracks composed and performed by Clark Crawford except Mysterium Drone which was composed and performed by Bill Thompson and recorded live in San Marcos, Texas
