1. Cymbal Piece 8:26

Cymbal Piece was recorded live at a house concert in Aberdeen Scotland around 2007. I performed solo using two cymbals positioned in such a way that both could be played simultaneously using one cello bow.

The piece ends with me holding one of the cymbals by the base of its stand and bowing the last few notes of the piece over the heads of the audience.

Shared privately around 2010 but otherwise unheard beyond its initial performance. This version has been lightly remastered.

Cymbal Piece was composed by Bill Thompson (2007) and remastered in 2023.
